Well all this talk of STO, got me doing something I didn’t think I would do, I patched up STO, and logged in. Actually the game looked better from what little I saw. I absolutely loved the space combat feel, just for the Klingon’s my faction there just was enough things to do. I doubt I’ll play much SWTOR is where my heart is.

I just figured I spent so much for the collectors edition I better do something with it, beside pin the badge on my junk as a reminder to be careful with collectors editions.

SWTOR still rocking it, I hit 25…I know I suck, but I looked at the bill for speeder training I just weep.

Speaking of collector’s editions I plunked down some money for Diablo 3 CE…yeah I know I’m an idiot, but that diablo head is da’shiznit, son.

MY PING SUCKS, AND I’M GETTING DRUNK FOR THE SUPER BOWL, CAUSE I HATE BOTH TEAMS!

Er excuse me, lost myself for a second.

Isn’t this stuff supposed to retain some sort of value, the pin alone should be 10 bucks. After I plunked down 150 for the Collectors Edition of SWTOR, and eyeing the Diablo 3 CE. It makes me stop and think is this stuff truly worth it. I don’t know my way of thinking over CE’s is maybe I should wait, and if I want something then pick it up, and if I wait maybe I find out if the game is going to last more than a couple of months before going free 2 play.  

Then again my Darth Malgus statue looks pretty bad ass.

I’m old school. I love my vampires non glitterly, to be assholes, aka Kiefer Sutherland in Lost Boys, to be ominous like Bela Lugosi in Dracula, or hideous monsters like Nosferatu. i like my werewolves to be bad ass tortured monsters like Lon Chaney, The Camp of Werewolves in The Howling, or the dude in American Werewolf in London.

By the way beware the moors, THAT SHIT IS EPIC.

Though Rowan pointed some thing out, the girl in the photo Ashley Greene, I might just have to review this film in slow motion, naked, with lots of butter popcorn, and when I climax I’ll scream TEAM ALICE! I just hope Team Edward! doesn’t get blurted out, I might have some explaining to do to the girlfriend.

Having just plunked down the money for the Diablo 3 Collectors Edition, am infuriated. Sure I wasn’t going to be a Markco, but make some money at doing what I love….who doesn’t wish that. Then if you are too good, then they will ban you. 

If you don’t want players to make money, don’t have a real money auction house….you Blizzard are no daisies.

When I recently received an email about Iron Man Mode, and their endeavor to rise awareness, and give back to the community I felt compulsion to give them some props.

Iron Man Mode is an interesting concept, I find intriguing. You play a game, when you die the blog dies. That’s pretty cool I would think, though this blog would be dead 8,000 times over. Well I played a Mage in WoW for years, we died anytime some one dropped a hat.  Even though I just started reading them, I can already tell they are up to the challenge. So check them out.

Also check out their charity page, and try to help them raise some money for Child’s Play. I’ll be giving them a little money, as soon as I rob some piggy banks from little babies….Wha? Ain’t like I’m eating the babies….like I do SWTOR.

As I work on my SWTOR toons, I can’t help my eyes wandering over to other games like STO, which is F2P now, or with news about GW2. I don’t know if it’s ADD, or really something is bad about SWTOR, and I’m in denial. Either way I’m banging away at my main toon. I really need credits, so I’m slicing like it’s my job.

There are times though I really miss my mage. We had alot of adventures together. He’s like an old friend that I use to pal around together.  As I think back to my mage, there are some things I just truly miss.

Some things I miss….

5. Blinking the hell out of there – As a mage sometimes you get a little overrunned by the mobs. Running away is a strategy to a mage, and nothing like running and blinking the hell out of a situation, toss in a good frost nova and I would laugh my arse off as I ran.

4. Invisibility -  I loved it when everyone else wiped, and I’d sit there and wait for them to come back, cause I hit Invisible at the right time when we wiped.

3. Blizzard – I love all the huge numbers that would be flying by when I would open up a can of whoop-ass.

2. Teleports – Man, making gold off them, tricking people with them, heck sometimes I would just teleport cause I was bored.

1. Slowfall – When life would get me down, or I was bored I would climb to the highest points in Azeroth, jump off and just slowfall down, and watch the world go. It was very Zen, and it put me in a better state of mind.

So those are the reasons I miss the mage….

…that and my mage would eat babies….mofoes!

Like a good Beta Hooker that I am, I’ve had plenty of John’s like Bioware, I’ve been in the sack with Blizzard too, as well as a multitude of other game companies. Sometimes I been in the middle of a Beta Bukkake, as I beta test several games at the same time, all of them spewing forth their buggy goodness onto my face.

GW2 looks hot, and ever since talk began swirling about it there has been an unquenchable burning in my loins. I want to be a part of the hot, sticky, adventure and feel the ups, and downs of this beta, thrusting my opinions deep into the recesses of the developers minds.

I can’t wait to hear from you Arenanet, until then I’ll just slowly eat these bananas, carrots, and popsicles I have here.

So why am I here….why do I waste my time, and possibly yours. I think it’s time for a list, cause the Internet loves a list.

1. It’s a hobby – People don’t build models of airplanes because they are going to show them off in competition with each other for the most part. People build model airplanes to reduce stress, to take a step back from life, and do something they enjoy.  I don’t take this overtly serious, it’s just something I do when I have time.

2. I enjoy writing – Even though I suck at it,  I enjoy doing it. I like to play chess too, and I suck at that as well. It takes me about 10 minutes to write a post, just imagine if I actually put effort into this.

3. Part of something – Even though I am a small shadowy corner of the blogosphere, I feel I am a part of it.

4. Camaraderie – I feel without blogging, I wouldn’t of met so many interesting people, and keep meeting them.

5. Bad Boy – I got this reputation among the blogosphere as a little bit rough around the edges bad boy, and I feel I have a niche to fill. Way to many good guys out there, someone has to be an asshole, and I am that man.
