Everyone’s mad and it ain’t at me.
RealID is turning into a Real fuckup. I don’t think I ever seen the WoW blogosphere in such a rage before. I kind of like it. I tend to like swirling Chaos, and Madness…I’m just a little bit jealous too. Blizzard is getting so much hate, it’s delicious. I almost want a job there.
Well here’s a sampling of what’s going on in the blogosphere.
Even my hated enemy Anna hates the idea…
But what I’m sad about is Gnomey is calling it quits, I’d put up with 100 Annas just to keep Gnomey around.
Am I angry, yes…Here’s my post….but I am not going to fly off the handle just yet. Why?
It’s not live yet. Sure it’s a great time to voice my opinion, but if it goes live, that’s when I’ll get pissed. I’m not even frothing at the mouth mad, because there’s other games to play, and if Blizzard/Activision doesn’t want my money, I’m sure someone else will.

And frothing is FUN! — as long as it’s not FrothLoony McStalker.
But my brand of frothing is usually aimed at actions, not people. Also, I don’t stalk. And even if I did you’d never know it. I despise ninjas (<3 pirates!) but their silly tricks work well.

Gas is way to expensive to make a molotov cocktail, and vodka to delicious…but leaving bags of flaming dog poop on Blizz’s door. I’m all for that.

On another note, my feed for you in my google reader was set to an older wordpress related feed. I was wondering where the heck you’d been since there wasn’t a post in that feed since mid June.
Now I find out that you have been posting and I just missed all of your lovey dovey positive posts!

I’m not fond of the idea of RealID but I’ll be honest…my selfish motivation outweighs my care in this instance. I disabled the RealID and am cheering on the people on the forums that are boycotting it by canceling their accounts as that entails there are less people that stand between me and a Beta invitation with less active accounts to take into consideration.
I understand the hate for it and dislike it myself…some of the people ‘finding information to make a point’ have been extremely unnerving but honestly…less people standing in the way of my beta invite…that’s about the effort my brain wants to put into it right now.
